Domaine Didier Dagueneau / Study by producer

France / Loire / Saint-Andelain

Other names & notations: Domaine Didier Dagueneau / ディディエ・ダグノー

Update date: 2026-09-24

Distinguish between the location and the name.

The domaine is based in Saint-Andelain, in the Pouilly-Fumé area. Meanwhile, the names 'Silex' and 'Pur Sang' listed by the importer for the 2023 vintage are indicated as Vin de France. It is necessary to distinguish between the geographic location of the vineyard and the official designation stated on the bottle.

Also produces Sancerre

In the same list, Le Mont d’Annee 2023 is listed as Sancerre. Even for Sauvignon from the same house, the origin and label information differ by cuvée. You cannot determine the origin of every bottle only from the producer introduction.

From barrel to tank

The importer’s account of winemaking describes one year in oak barrels, followed by 5–7 months together in tank before bottling. Barrels vary in shape, size, and age. Do not generalize about new oak rates without specifying vintage or label.

  • Did you distinguish and explain the three items in the table?
  • Did you separate verified facts from points to check further with additional references or tasting?
