Three wine regions
Codru, Ștefan Vodă, and Valul lui Traian are protected geographical indications for wine. IGP is in Romanian and corresponds to PGI in English. Check the registered area’s grapes and production rules, and distinguish this from simple bottling location information.
FIELD NOTE 02
Divin is a distilled spirit.
The official information notes that Divin is also a geographical indication but covers distilled spirits made from wine. Its area encompasses all of Moldova. It is not correct to place it as a fourth independent region outside the three wine zones on the map.

Read place of origin and winemaking separately.
Even within the same country, the process differs between still, traditional method sparkling, and barrel-aged spirits after distillation. When studying PGI, check not only the place name but also the specific product. Organize sweetness, grape variety, vintage, and aging separately in their respective sections.
