The year being commemorated and the vintage of the raw material.

The figures in Apanage Brut 1874 are derived from the Maison’s commemorative brut history. It is a label released to mark the 150th anniversary in 2024, but it does not mean that only grapes harvested in 1874 were bottled.

The composition of the first edition

The 1st Edition is centered around 2018, combined with base wines from 2015 and 2012, and includes perpetual reserve. The blend is 45% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, and 15% Meunier. The combinations of vintages and varietal proportions should be considered independently.

Distinguish before and after aging

According to Japan's official description, in addition to aging for at least 48 months, a further 4 months are spent after disgorgement. The latter period is after the lees have been removed. You cannot describe the total of these two as the time spent in contact with the lees.
