Koshu and Pinot Blanc
Kai Blanc, bred in Yamanashi, is a white wine grape with Kōshū and Pinot Blanc as parents. It is neither a synonym for Kōshū nor simply a color variation of Kai Noir. The presence of "Kai" in both names does not indicate a parent-child relationship.
Compare the two Kai
The parents of Kai Noir are Black Queen and Cabernet Sauvignon. The parentage is different from Kai Blanc. Before comparing red and white products, tabulate how the raw materials were developed.
Interpreting ripening timing by location
Ripening of Kai Blanc in Yamanashi City is described as being from mid- to late September. In the same area, this timing differs from Kai Noir, which ripens in early October. Since the reference includes cold climate suitability limitations, you cannot choose growing sites based only on the name or the classification as a white variety.

What is the relationship with Kai Noir?
Even with similar names, their breeding histories are distinct.
What are the conditions for using the ripening timing listed in the table?
Compare while keeping the location conditions from the documentation intact.
